Babysitter Storms Off After Client Calls Her “Expensive” For Charging While Their Baby Sleeps

Recently, a story from a 22-year-old woman who works as a babysitter for a family went viral on the AITA subreddit. “I get paid 20 dollars an hour, I’m an EMT-Basic and speak Spanish,” she wrote. The woman explained that the father of the family she works for started complaining how he “hates that I’m there while the baby is napping” and even told her that “you get expensive if you’re here while the baby is napping.” It felt like a real slap in the face for the author, since she was doing the chores and all the work while the baby slept, and it wasn’t like she was doing nothing.
